Warehouse Associate

Overview Dynamic, fast paced, growing, technical equipment distributor with European influence is looking for a candidate who would like the responsibility to provide “amazing” customer satisfaction through the order fulfillment process. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: Highly Organized and Service Minded Excellent Oral and Written Communication Demonstrated accuracy and speed in the parts order fulfillment of similar parts Friendly, Eager, and Social Enjoys a fast paced, progressive environment with the ability to multi-task and deal with interruptions Thoughtful and Proactive Maintain an orderly, well-organized and labeled product inventory Timely and accurately follow product receiving procedures Timely and accurately ship product according to procedures – including the pulling and packing of orders and processing in shipping computer Perform cleaning and organizing of all warehouse and exterior areas Complete product inventory in accordance with company policy Handle inquiries related to product availability, shipments and deliveries Coordinate with key suppliers for urgent overnight drop shipments on out of stock merchandise Manage RMA process from creation to closure Regularly and diligently monitor backorders and proactively seek resolution Maintain detailed files, reports, and logs for documentation Objectives and Accountabilities 100% same day fulfillment of orders received by 4:00PM Consistent warehouse order and cleanliness Regular evaluation of RMA log and 100% closure in 30-day window for each RMA Qualifications Must be able to work standing for 8 hours per day Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 80 pounds regularly Minimum of 2 years working within warehouse operations Current forklift certification required Must be detail oriented, dependable and eager to grow with the company Experience with shipping through UPS WorldShip and FedEx Shipping Manager Computer literate: Proficiency Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word Experience in organizing "over the road" shipments through common carriers a PLUS SAP experience a PLUS International Shipping Experience a PLUS HAZMAT Certifications a PLUS Strong attention to detail Strong technical aptitude Independent thinker and Self Motivated High School graduation or equivalent experience required Some mechanical and electrical aptitude preferred Benefits and Rewards Annual Performance Evaluation Vacation and Holiday Pay Health and Dental Insurance 401K with company match To apply please email View email address on click.appcast.io with your resume and a brief cover letter.
