Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Atlanta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency room environment
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and intervention for a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective emergency care
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Some trauma experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma center setting
