Maintenance MechanicPay: $35.40 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour (After 8PM)Shift & Working Hours: 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm; Weekends/Overtime as needed.The Maintenance Mechanic 4 performs preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to minimize equipment downtime. Routinely diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs mechanical and electrical issues safely and efficiently. Day to day operation support and troubleshooting. Follow company policy and GMP and safety.This role is part of our Dairy Food business who creates dairy products that stand for real, simple goodness. We believe there's power in every drop of milk our farmers produce, and by improving production and finding innovative uses for that milk, we add a little good to people's lives.Key Responsibilities:Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and othersShows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quicklyMonitors performance of plant machinery and equipment for proper operating performance; performs regular and preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnoses, tests, troubleshoots, and inspections on all machinery and equipment; documents work accordinglyEnsures all standard operating procedures are followedAble to multi-task and keep up with demands in a fast-paced environmentMay participate in training or troubleshooting at other locations or in Arden Hills, MN.May participate in troubleshooting at other LOL plants.Other duties as assignedRequired Experience and Skills:Must be 18 years or older6+ months of industrial or building facility maintenance experienceBasic computer and math skillsAble to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and product manualsWillingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshootStrong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectfulPreferred Experience:2+ years' experience working with basic electrical systems, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, packaging, PLC, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, and pumps.LOTO experienceForklift experiencePhysical Requirements:Able to lift/carry up to 50 poundsFrequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movementsPerforming duties while wearing personal protective equipmentWorking in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are presentRequired to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtimeAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
