Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments, gathering detailed histories of patients' traumatic experiences to tailor effective treatment approaches.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize recovery and resilience through evidence-based methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and engage in healing processes.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated care strategies for our patients.

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, acting swiftly to support patients in distress.

  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient care in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support individuals who have experienced varying types of trauma, including those with PTSD, who often face challenges in regulating emotions, interpersonal relationships, and day-to-day functioning. Your therapeutic efforts will be instrumental in guiding these clients as they navigate their healing processes, reinforcing their strengths and fostering transformative growth.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.

Preferred Experience\n

  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health services, particularly with a focus on trauma-related disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering an annual compensation of USD 80,000 to 104,000.
