This 140-bed healthcare facility features a closed ICU and a strong, collegial team atmosphere. The hospital is part of a comprehensive regional health system that includes 25 clinics and 5 hospitals serving the broader area.

Opportunity:
Hospitalist (Admitting Service)

Job Details:
• Work as part of a collaborative team of 20 full-time hospitalists with NP support• Handle Emergency Department admissions, consults and direct admissions• Collaborate with One Call/Hospital Supervisor team taking transfers from outlying facilities• No procedures required• 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling (24 weeks per year)• Benefit from specialty and 24/7 intensivist support• Must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine OR BC/BE in Family Medicine with minimum 1 year Hospitalist experience or completion of a Hospitalist fellowship• 2 Admitting Services scheduled per day, 7 days per week• Ideal candidate will be adaptable, collaborative, team-player focused on quality patient care

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
