Legal Tech Innovation Analyst

We are seeking a Legal Innovation Technology Analyst to join a law firm’s Client & Innovation Office in Detroit, MI. This position is perfect for individuals who grasp legal processes, enjoy tackling technological challenges, and can enhance the use of AI, contract analysis, document automation, and litigation management tools by attorneys and legal professionals.Responsibilities:Aid attorneys and legal teams in incorporating legal technology into ongoing cases and internal proceduresAssist in defining, setting up, and initiating projects utilizing platforms like Kira, Luminance, Opus 2, Legora, Harvey, or similar toolsDevelop practical resources for users, including quick reference guides, FAQs, checklists, screenshots, and workflow documentationDeliver initial training, demonstrations, and day-to-day support for selected applicationsMonitor usage, gather feedback, record challenges, and pinpoint areas for improvementCollaborate with attorneys, IT, Innovation, Training, Knowledge, Research, vendors, and practice groups to devise technology-based solutionsStay abreast of legal tech trends, such as agentic AI, contract analysis, collaboration tools, and case management platformsRequirements:Familiarity with law firm or legal department procedures, including attorney output, case stages, and transaction or litigation processesHands-on involvement in legal tech support, system implementation, project management, or workflow enhancementQuick grasp of new platforms and ability to explain technology clearly to both attorneys and non-technical usersKnowledge of legal tech tools like Kira, Luminance, Opus 2, Legora, Harvey, or similar applicationsExperience with GenAI prompting, no-code/low-code workflows, or AI-powered legal process aidStrong skills in listening, communication, customer service, organization, follow-up, and problem-solvingProficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and reporting tools; familiarity with Power BI is a bonusAbility to handle sensitive data with discretion and professionalismPreferably hold a college degree in a related field
