This role reports directly to the Truck Shop Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS * Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King's Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement * Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively. * Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. * Create and process invoices for repairs and services. * Order truck parts, tools, and shop supplies from vendors. * Compare pricing and availability between suppliers. * Coordinate with technicians to keep records current. * Maintain organized files for invoices, purchase orders, and service records. * Performed other duties as assigned. PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. * Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn fleet and maintenance systems. * Comfortable navigating computer systems and software to assist customers or manage tasks. * Demonstrate strong written and oral interpersonal and communication skills while interacting with all levels of management at the DC and Store Support Center. * Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and compliance processes. * Must be effective in a team environment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods. * Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. * Must be able to access and navigate all facilities. * Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices). * Must be able to see at close and far distances. * Must be able to lift, bend, carry, and push repetitively.
