Radiology - X-ray Tech

X-ray Technician

X-ray technician comfortable working in the emergency department. Comfortable with portable and operating room settings. Willing to learn pediatrics and neonates. Capable of operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment. Evaluates images for technical quality. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically EPIC and Sectra. Experience with GE, Phillips, and CareStream equipment. Assigned to a department by day but expected to float if needed. Will work with students and perform competency check-offs for students. Mask fit required.

Minimum 1 year level 1 trauma experience or 2-3 years at a large bed trauma level 2 facility. Must hold ARRT Certifications: BLS required. Graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT approved program.
