The salary range for this role is $55,400.00 to $69,300.00 CAD. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position. As an Associate Accountant, you'll gain broad exposure to accounting operations, month-end close activities, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance while partnering with colleagues across the business. Are interested in pursuing your CPA designation and growing your accounting career. What You'll Do Support monthly close activities for statutory and management general ledgers. Complete intercompany and balance sheet account reconciliations and participate in the global intercompany reconciliation process. Record daily accounting transactions, including intercompany billings, purchases, and inventory activity. Assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting requirements for business partners and brand owners. Support the preparation of Pernod Ricard reporting packages. Manage purchase order generation through both automated and manual processes. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies. Prepare routine journal entries and account reconciliations. Perform inventory reconciliations across multiple locations. Support monthly VAT and sales tax filings and remittances for multiple entities. Contribute to ad hoc projects, process improvements, and special assignments as needed. What's In it for Me? Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of accounting experience in a similar environment. Interest in pursuing a Canadian CPA designation; CPA Ontario student registration preferred. Basic knowledge of accounting processes, internal controls, and IFRS principles. Experience working with integrated accounting systems and transactional accounting processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with JD Edwards E1 and Hubble (Insight Software) is an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
