divh2Job Title/h2pDelivery And Pickup Specialist/ph2Job Description/h2pSupports and promotes Memorial Blood Centers practices to ensure excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. Ensures correct and timely packaging of blood components and supplies for transport. Provides timely delivery and pick-up as directed by Hospital Services and other departments within the blood center, as schedule permits. Demonstrates complete understanding and complies with established policies and procedures relating to assigned tasks; adheres to safety policies and procedures. Promotes teamwork and communication internally and externally. Maintains a professional attitude and appearance. Demonstrates dependability, punctuality and cooperation. Participates in continuing education training. Attends staff meetings and completes competency testing on time. Maintains vehicles, supplies and required forms and reports. Responsible for maintaining records of all miles driven on a given day/shift. The hourly rate for this position is $19.06/hr.
