Position Summary

As an Occupational Therapist , you will evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence and improve quality of life. You will work closely with our therapy team, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care and functional outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities.
• Deliver skilled OT services in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
• Educate and support residents, families, and caregivers.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and changes in resident condition.
• Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and facility standards.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas Occupational Therapist license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• In good standing with all regulatory agencies and boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Health a plus.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
