Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a pivotal position supporting student success as a full-time school psychologist on a contract basis. In this important role, your expertise will help shape a positive educational experience for students by delivering comprehensive psychological services within a school setting near Wapakoneta, OH. As a valued part of the education team, you'll collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to promote academic, behavioral, and emotional growth for all students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience providing psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and interventions in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of IDEA and current special education regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct academic and behavioral assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in eligibility and review meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve learning outcomes and social-emotional development
- Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant guidelines and deadlines
