About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ARRT MR or ARMRIT Must-Have: Must be comfortable with inpatient and outpatient scanning. Must have experience scanning implanted devices, including non-conditional pacemakers. Must be able to transport patients after hours. Must be comfortable with pediatric and sedated patients. Description: This position requires performing MRI scans on patients. The MRI Technologist will work with both inpatient and outpatient cases. Familiarity with GE 1.5 Signa EchoSpeed, GE 1.5 Signa Voyager, GE 3T Signa Excite, and Hitachi (Fuji) Oasis Open Air equipment is essential. The Technologist will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process. Excellent communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with patients and the healthcare team. The position requires adherence to all safety protocols and best practices in MRI technology. Candidates must be capable of working a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends. All candidates must comply with the 50-mile radius rule; local candidates will not be considered. Previous staff must be approved to return.
