Airline Ticket Agents

Inspirational Tours is seeking experienced and customer-focused Airline Ticket Agents to assist with airline reservations, ticketing, passenger support, and travel arrangements. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with an airline, airport ticket counter, travel agency, or airline reservation system and understand the importance of accuracy and excellent customer service in the travel industry.

Bilingual preferred. Work with large group, attention to detail and deadlines.

This position requires someone who is professional, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to assist customers with their travel needs from booking through departure.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist customers with domestic and international airline reservations and ticketing.
• Book, confirm, change, reissue, and cancel airline reservations as needed.
• Provide customers with accurate information regarding flight schedules, fares, baggage requirements, seat assignments, and airline policies.
• Process airline tickets and applicable fees accurately.
• Assist with itinerary changes, missed or canceled flights, schedule changes, and other travel-related issues.
• Review passenger information and travel documents for accuracy.
• Assist with group travel arrangements and passenger manifests when required.
• Communicate professionally with airlines, customers, tour coordinators, and other travel partners.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving travel concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate reservation, payment, and customer records.
• Follow all company procedures regarding customer information, payments, ticketing, and travel documentation.
• Assist with additional travel-agent and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous airline, airport ticketing, airline reservation, or travel agency experience is required.
• Experience using airline reservation/GDS systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo, or Galileo/Travelport is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of airline ticketing procedures, fare rules, reservations, and itinerary changes.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain professional and solution-oriented when assisting customers with travel disruptions or last-minute changes.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and customer-service attitude.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with previous experience as an Airline Ticket Agent, Reservation Agent, Passenger Service Agent, Travel Agent, Airline Customer Service Representative, or Airport Ticket Counter Agent are strongly encouraged to apply.
