Job Description:

Sierra-Cedar is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HR and Benefits Functional Consultant to join our robust Cloud practice. The ideal candidate will have proven end-to-end Cloud project experience in Oracle Cloud HR and Benefits, align key deliverables and milestone metrics for project success, and deliver comprehensive business solutions to enhance client systems. As a key member of our talented Cloud team, you will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and consultants to develop, plan, and implement Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire Cloud application services implementation lifecycle
• Identify business requirements and map them to HCM Cloud functionality
• Conduct Functional Design Workshops
• Identify functionality gaps and build extensions for them
• Advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
• Configure the Fusion Applications to meet client requirements and document application set-ups
• Write business requirement documents for reports, interfaces, data conversions and application extensions
• Assist client in preparing validation scripts and testing scenarios and develop test scripts
• Lead migration of configuration, integrations, and extensions to production
• Effectively communicate and drive project deliverables
• Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Interact with the project team members responsible for developing reports, interfaces, data conversion programs, and application extensions
• Provide status and issue reports to the project manager/client on a regular basis
• Share knowledge to continually improve implementation methodology

Qualifications:

Must have a solid understanding and work experience as a Functional Consultant with the following:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Functional Consulting role
• Ideal candidate has completed one full lifecycle project with Oracle HCM Cloud, with hands-on implementation experience in HR and Benefits
• Solid experience working with Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft, or Cloud applications with a focus in Human Capital Management (HCM)
• Experience implementing HCM solutions in a K-12 setting
• Must be available to work occasional nights and weekends to support project milestones
• Bachelor's degree is required at a minimum
• Oracle Cloud certification(s) strongly preferred
• Travel to client sites as needed
• Must already be living in the US
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

• Communicates clearly and effectively with clients, account executives, and management
