Hospital-based CT department setting 4x10 hour mid shifts from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM Includes weekend rotation 40 hours per week Minimum of 2 years of CT scanning experience required Current ARRT (CT) certification required Current BLS certification required State license required for IN or KY (license required if applicable, can be obtained after offer) Perform CT imaging procedures including patient positioning, contrast administration, and equipment operation to produce high-quality diagnostic images Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff Prepare patients for procedures, provide education, and address questions or concerns using an age-appropriate communication approach Collaborate with physicians to evaluate images and determine if additional imaging is needed Oversee and train students in patient care and imaging procedures as part of their training Demonstrate knowledge of infection control and quality control techniques American Traveler Job ID #P-746059.
