Outpatient Pharmacist

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Join our team as a Pharmacist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across our health system. In this position, you will function as a pharmacist in accordance with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population. You'll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise through a variety of assignments and projects led by the Trinity Pharmacy Manager, all while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that values clinical excellence and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains patient profiles within the pharmacy system
• Review's medication profiles with each prescription fill
• Ensures appropriate and adequate medication inventory of controlled and non-controlled medications
• Verifies the accuracy of order entry and product dispensing
• Ensures proper medication handling and storage
• Prioritizes tasks to increase department efficiency

Qualifications

Education:

• B.S. Degree in Pharmacy required
• Doctor of Pharmacy preferred

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Current License to practice Pharmacy in the state of Iowa required
• Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required

Experience:

• 3 years of pharmacist experience required
• Retail Pharmacy experience preferred
