Get in on the action at Russ Davis Wholesale (RDW)-the Midwest's premier distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables. We're currently hiring a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician to join our production facility in St. Paul, MN.

In this role, you'll play a critical part in protecting product quality and ensuring food safety across our production operations. The Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician monitors, verifies, and documents key food safety and quality standards throughout the entire production process.

Full Time Schedule:

Start times flexible/rotating, Saturdays and 1 other day off, flexible!

Wage: $19.00/hr + Based on experience and qualifications

Requirements

• Previous Food Safety and/or Quality Assurance experience in food industry a plus!.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; must maintain professional relationship with internal and external contacts
• Bi-Lingual (English/Karen, Vietnamese, Hmong) is a plus.
• Good organization, prioritization, multi-tasking and attention to detail skills.
• Must have basic mathematical and literacy skills to read and document temperatures, weights, etc. of products and have a general understanding of weight relationships.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, day and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the conditions specified for 8 - 10-hour shifts.
• Must be able to work in various work environments (i.e. refrigerated coolers, wet, etc.) on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
