Recruitment Counselor

Student Recruitment Counselor (SRC) The Student Recruitment Counselor is a full‑cycle recruiter who works with prospective students to provide accurate information, enabling them to make informed decisions. The role may involve representing the university at educational fairs, tradeshows, and other post‑secondary enrollment events. Responsibilities Assist with the development of recruitment plans to meet targeted projections by implementing innovative and effective recruitment tactics and initiatives. Create and maintain relationships with prospective students through matriculation. Assist prospective students inquiring about the educational opportunities available through the Worldwide/Online Campus. Manage projects as assigned. Assist other departments such as admissions and advising as required. Support excellence in student services at every opportunity and maintain healthy relationships with university, military, and corporate affiliations. Utilize multiple resources and tools throughout day‑to‑day activities for effective recruitment. Handle moderate travel as required. Maintain flexible availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. (EST). Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license; a ClassC (CDL) license may be required for some assignments. Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma. 1–3 years of excellence in Customer Service and/or 2 years of recruitment experience. Ability to handle phone calls, emails, and text messages in a fast‑paced environment, while conducting outbound calls to prospective students. Consistently meet deadlines and maintain composure under pressure. Dynamic, motivated, enthusiastic individual with professional recruitment experience in higher education. Analytical skills and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Outlook/email, and internet end‑user applications, including Salesforce. Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills. High standard of personal conduct, professionalism, and integrity; confidentiality is essential. Excellent customer service skills for coworkers, staff, students, faculty, and customers. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to seek guidance as necessary. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to ensure a high degree of accuracy. Ability to recognize and deal with priorities, perform duties not directly assigned, investigate, problem‑solve, and take corrective action.
