They will work in a cross-functional team to develop, test & produce EO/IR solutions.Candidate will work closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system.Essential Functions:Design, develop, implement and test sensor control softwareUtilize published OMS, UCI, XML Schema, reference designs & other standards for product developmentUtilize MS Visual Studio, QNX, Linux, & XMLSpy development toolsPerform debugging and unit testing of software productsPerform system modeling, simulation and analysis on complex softwareConduct independent technical investigations of considerable complexity to improve system performance or solve difficult system requirements issuesCoordinate with other functional engineers to develop and test products; resolve compatibility and interface problems with other subsystemsInterface with other departments to participate in specification, design, code, and test reviewsFollow internal process to ensure proper conformance to established policies and proceduresProvide timely production support and problem resolutionProduce timely status reports and projectionsPrioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictionsReview literature and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projectsEvaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or servicesAbility to obtain a US Security Clearance Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $84,500 - $157,500.
