Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 18 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 6 months.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Temple University (Direct) Program.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required.

Unit Details: Care for ICU boarders in the PACU unit. Expected patient population is trauma overflow however, previous trauma training is not required.

Shift & Scheduling: Unit operating hours are Monday 7am to Saturday 7pm, no Sundays.

Floating Requirements: May float to ED for ICU holds or to other ICU/Stepdown units based on need/census.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
