Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Seeking a highly skilled Sr. Infrastructure Automation Engineer for an 18-month remote contract role, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining automation solutions to streamline infrastructure operations, with a focus on developing scalable AWS cloud environments and creating reusable Terraform modules. Key responsibilities: Design and implement automation frameworks and reusable infrastructure patterns using Terraform Architect and deploy secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure Develop automation tools and scripts with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible Required qualifications: 5+ years of AWS cloud infrastructure experience Expert-level Terraform skills (modules, state management, multi-environment deployments) Strong Python scripting skills (Bash and PowerShell a plus) Hands-on experience with Ansible and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) Proven ability to design scalable automation solutions from scratch
