Associate Manager, Employee Relations

Overview Lead complex employee relations investigations across multiple regions while partnering closely with HR and business leaders to strengthen culture, mitigate risk, and drive consistency. Responsibilities Conduct HR investigations for a high-volume portfolio of cases across the US, LATAM, and Canada, including intake processes, investigation planning, interviews, determinations, recommendations, and reporting/insights analysis. Communicate and update the status of investigations to managers and HR Business Partners. Make recommendations regarding investigations and employee relations issues to HRBPs and leadership. Provide additional support on high-level, complex cases as needed. Analyze data trends from investigations and employee relations to address and mitigate risk and support culture. Partner with HR to drive necessary improvements. Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct through the initiation of appropriate investigation procedures in partnership with Employment Legal, Compliance, and local HR teams. Provide counsel and advice to HRBPs regarding employee relations matters and submit recommendations on how to address them. Develop and deliver training to managers, employees, and HRBPs as appropriate. Support in defining the standards and processes related to employee relations. Provide coaching to HRBPs on employee relations matters and work environment matters. Coordinate with Compliance and Employment Legal regarding employee discipline for compliance investigations that are not work environment matters. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging laws, regulations, trends, and issues affecting the company’s work environment and policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience. Minimum 6 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in business-facing HR, HR COE, HR Operations, or related roles. Minimum 1 year of relevant investigation experience. Bilingual fluency in Spanish (speaking and writing) is required; Portuguese is also preferred. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
