Occupational Therapy Contract Position

Make a meaningful impact by providing vital occupational therapy services to students in a supportive school setting. This onsite contract opportunity covers a maternity leave from November 5, 2026 through February 15, 2027, with a possible extension, delivering consistent care during a critical period. Work closely with educational teams to help children thrive and develop essential life skills.

What You Bring:

• Current, active Michigan OT licenseplease include a screenshot or copy of licensure with your application (verify via the state system using license type and your full name).
• Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred but not required; strong new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Understanding of IEPs, school-related documentation, and adaptation of therapeutic interventions for a diverse student population.
• Ability to work independently onsite and collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and supporting student-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to meet IEP goals for students across grade levels.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with school and state standards.
• Provide consultation to teachers and staff on adaptations and accommodations to optimize student participation.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records and engage in progress reporting.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to collaborative decision-making for student support.
