• Skills in caring for students with special medical needs: tracheostomy, feeding tubes, wheelchair assistance
• Comfortable providing one-on-one nursing, including bus riding with students
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate, professional, and a team player

Responsibilities:

• Deliver hands-on clinical nursing care for students in need of regular or complex health interventions
• Support a student with a wheelchair, trach, and feeding tube throughout the school day and on bus routes
• Collaborate closely with educators and health staff to create a nurturing school environment
• Contribute to individualized healthcare plans, thorough documentation, and emergency response protocols
• Step into a primary caregiving role during the first three weeks of the assignment as a nurse transitions
• Maintain compliance with all school and state nursing guidelines
