Work Environment

This position is based onsite in a hospital setting, providing an ideal atmosphere for collaborative care. You will work with an interdisciplinary team that includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient's rehabilitation experience. Our daily operations are designed around a structured schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to deliver personalized treatment plans that target mobility improvement and functional restoration.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Educate patients on body mechanics and proper exercise techniques, enhancing their understanding of at-home care and recovery practices.
• Administer various modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapies under supervision, promoting effective pain management.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking essential metrics such as range of motion and functional gains to inform treatment adjustments.
• Maintain an organized treatment area and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared for therapy sessions.
• Engage positively with patients, providing emotional support and motivation to foster a conducive environment for healing and recovery.
