The Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer will utilize their expertise and technical knowledge in conveyance and master planning projects to successfully lead and execute projects and support project pursuits primarily within the municipal markets. This role offers significant growth opportunities for advancement as you deliver projects, manage delivery teams, and build strong client relationships.Role accountabilities:As a Senior Water Wastewater Engineer, you will lead, manage, and support the development of water and wastewater projects. Our team helps clients achieve business objectives by creating and implementing innovative and effective solutions using state-of-the-art practices and technologies. Project ManagementYou will be responsible for managing tasks/projects and clients’ expectations for the planning, design, and construction of distribution/collection systems. Part of this responsibility will involve creating construction documents, specifications, and handling construction oversight/administration. The Senior Water Wastewater Engineer will be client-facing and be expected to work directly with clients to determine needs, develop the right strategies, and provide solutions, and then manage the client’s expectations throughout the project lifecycle to achieve the desired benefits and outcomes. You will be a key player in leading the planning, management, execution, and delivery of planning and design projects.Leadership:In this position, you will develop relationships or provide guidance on possible pursuits. This may involve being asked to support account teams in identifying, tracking, and positioning for opportunities. Part of this responsibility will include developing scopes of work and budgets Supervision: As a senior member of our team, this role will involve supervising and supporting the work of others; this includes mentoring junior staff Additional Responsibilities:In addition, you will be expected to be involved in grant writing, GIS mapping/analysis Key Skills/AttributesExcellent technical engineering and writing skills.Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills.Leads teams and collaborates with clients.Qualifications & Experience:Required Qualifications10 years of relevant engineering experience in conveyance system investigations and rehabilitation.Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.Preferred Qualifications12+ years of experience.Master's in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.Project Management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes.Client relationships/experience with the local municipalities.Proficient in ArcGIS ProP.E.
