Transportation Intern

Intern - Civil Engineering Halff is actively seeking an Intern for our Transportation team in our Oklahoma City, OK office. The Civil Engineering Intern will help perform Transportation design, including TxDOT, city, and county roadway and highway design projects. The Intern will assist in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Transportation projects, as well as helping with CAD work. Responsibilities Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer. Assist in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Transportation projects. Assist with CAD drafting work. Perform calculations and analysis for design projects. Assist in preparing permit applications and other regulatory documents. Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors. Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies. What you will need Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an ABET-accredited equivalent Engineering Degree. Solid relationship and team building skills. Internship Details Interns are paid hourly and work full-time (40 hours/week), typically 8a-5p Monday through Friday.
