Security Officer – Reception & Patrol $19 / Hour

5 Full-Time Positions Available – All Shifts!

Looking for a great way to start your career in security? Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers in Fenton for a professional, reception-style security position. No previous security experience is required , making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working with people while helping maintain a safe and secure environment.

This position offers a nice balance of customer service and security responsibilities . You'll primarily work from the reception area, assisting employees and visitors, while also conducting occasional security rounds and responding to alarms when needed.

Position Details

• Pay: $19.00/hour

• Employment: Full-Time

• Openings: 5 positions available

• Experience: Entry-Level – No security experience required

• Shifts: Afternoon, Evening & Overnight

• Days: Weekday and weekend opportunities available

What You'll Do

• Provide a professional and welcoming presence at the reception desk

• Assist employees, visitors, and guests as needed

• Monitor activity and help maintain site security

• Conduct occasional security rounds of the property

• Respond to and investigate alarms

• Report unusual or suspicious activity

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  *A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
