Description: Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 2 to support the integration and operation of software within high-performance computing (HPC) environments.This role focuses on mission operations infrastructure, including automation, monitoring, alerting, and resiliency of systems supporting critical workloads. The ideal candidate will support software integration efforts while troubleshooting customer use cases and ensuring reliable system performance across Linux-based environments.Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, integrate, and maintain COTS and GOTS software in heterogeneous environmentsSupport HPC systems and applications to ensure continuous mission operationsTroubleshoot and resolve software and configuration issues across Linux-based platformsSupport infrastructure automation, monitoring, alerting, and resiliency effortsAssist with customer use case configuration and issue resolutionDevelop and maintain scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or CUtilize automation frameworks such as Salt and AnsibleMaintain monitoring and alerting systems (Nagios/Thruk, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)Use version control tools such as Git-based repositories (e.g., Gitbucket)Collaborate with teams using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Slurm for workload managementQualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (5 additional years of experience may substitute)Minimum 6 years of experience supporting software integration in Linux-based environmentsDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or equivalent)Strong experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu) and scripting/programming (Python, Bash, C)Experience with automation, monitoring, and infrastructure tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Nagios/Thruk, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)Requirements: U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants.
