Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating all assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician directions. This role includes delegating and directing therapy services, ensuring effective return to community activities, and serving as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to create and implement appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care thoroughly and in compliance with all guidelines.
• Provide care under signed physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in student programs and provide mentorship as needed.
• Maintain professional licensure and complete continuing education requirements.
• Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license for the location of practice.

Schedule

This role operates on a 5x8 schedule, totaling 40 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
