Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in endoscopic procedures and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the preparation and care of patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing endoscopy procedures including EGD, ERCP, colonoscopies, and bronchoscopies.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor them post-procedure.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with the EMR system (Meditech Expanse).
• Work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in training and educational sessions to stay current with best practices in endoscopy nursing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• ACLS certification.
• Endoscopy experience is a must.
• Familiarity with Meditech is preferred.
