Emergency Medicine Job Summary: HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is seeking a Chief of Emergency Medicine to lead our Emergency Medicine team in Sebring, Florida. Qualified Candidates
• Board certified or board eligible (ABEM or AOBEM) in Emergency Medicine or have three continuous years of current Emergency Medicine experience • History of successful leadership experience preferred Incentives/Benefits • Competitive Compensation • Commencement Bonus • Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision and more • Medical Malpractice and Tail Coverage • Flexible Scheduling Emergency Department • 27,000 annual ED volume • 13-bed ED with 12 fast-track treatment chairs • Single Physician coverage (6a-6p, 6p-6a) • Average 12-hours/day APP coverage • 24/7 access to HCA Florida Patient Transfer Center Hospital Features • 126 licensed beds • 16-bed ICU • 5 ORs, Robotic Surgery • 1 cath lab • Key services include women's care including breast health and gynecological surgery, cardiology, cardiac catheterization, heart screening and imaging, gastroenterology, orthopedics including joint replacement, spine care, therapy including occupational, physical, and speech, urology, vascular surgery • Five-Star Healthgrades recognition for Hip Fracture Treatment, Spinal Fusion Surgery, Stroke, Gallbladder removal surgery • Established in 1965, 500+ employees, 460+ physicians Community Information • Sebring is a rural community located just 85 miles south of Orlando and 95 miles southwest of Tampa providing easy access to the state's best attractions without the hustle and high prices of the major, overcrowded tourist areas • Affordable cost of living • Beautiful natural surroundings • Relaxed, small-town charm, cultural diversity, slower pace yet close to major metro/large cities • Diverse, growing rural community with a variety of leisure activities available including award-winning golf courses and home to the Sebring Race Way
