CMM Programmer / Quality Control Inspector (Duramax CMM)
$25-$30/hr DOE | Monday-Friday | Day Shift | Full-Time | Overtime Available
Are you an experienced CMM Programmer who enjoys precision work and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality inspections?
We're looking for a skilled Quality Control Inspector/CMM Programmer to join our team. If you have experience programming and operating a Duramax CMM, reading engineering drawings, and working with precision measuring equipment, we'd love to hear from you!
This is a stable Monday-Friday day shift position offering competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and the chance to work with a team that values quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship.

$25-$30/hour DOE
✔ Overtime available during busy periods
What You'll Be Doing
✅ Program and operate a Duramax Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
✅ Create and edit CMM inspection programs using Calypso software (preferred)
✅ Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined parts
✅ Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Height gauges
- Other precision inspection tools
✅ Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings
✅ Apply GD&T principles to verify part compliance
✅ Analyze inspection data and generate quality reports
✅ Document non-conforming material and support corrective actions
✅ Perform routine CMM calibration and maintain inspection equipment
✅ Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met
What We're Looking For
✔ Experience programming and operating a Duramax CMM
✔ Experience with Calypso software preferred
✔ 3-5+ years of CMM programming or quality inspection experience
✔ Strong blueprint reading skills
✔ Solid understanding of GD&T
✔ Experience using precision measuring equipment
✔ Manufacturing experience in aerospace, semiconductor, automation, machining, or other precision industries
✔ Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
