Controls engineer

job summary:
Industry leading producer seeks a Controls Engineer for the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of automated control systems within the manufacturing environment. This role focuses heavily on PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA to ensure maximum equipment uptime and process efficiency. You should have a BSEE (or similar) and at least 1 year of related experience (program modification only is sufficient). Full-time direct-hire position with full benefits, including relocation assistance. Join an established producer in a position of growth!

• PLC program modification (Allen-Bradley), HMI, SCADA

• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA

• Take part in controls and automation projects (upgrades, requipment replacement, etc)

• Down time support

• BS Electrical Engineering preferred, related or lesser degrees to be considered with commensurate experience

• 4+ yrs experience with industrial automation in the workplace

• Desire to be on the floor of a production facility

• Project experience a plus

• Good communcation skills; flexible attitude; team mindset
