If your answer is yes, this temporary full-time Class A opportunity offers consistent daytime work, competitive hourly pay, and zero OTR.
What’s the Pay and Schedule?- $32.00–$34.00 per hour, based on experience
- Monday–Friday, daytime
- Start at 5:30 AM
- Typically wrap up between 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM
- Local routes with daily home time
- Class A tractor + 53' flatbed
- Class A tractor + 53' dry van
- 26' straight truck when needed for local stops
- Manufactured pallets
- Lumber and related building materials
- Operate safely and confidently on local and near-regional customer routes.
- Secure loads properly; confirm counts and condition before departure.
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and keep documentation current.
- Follow DOT/FMCSA regulations and company safety standards.
- Communicate with dispatch on timing, site changes, and equipment concerns.
- Deliver professional customer service and maintain a clean rig.
- Active Class A CDL and verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Comfort with 53' flatbed and dry van operations.
- Solid understanding of load securement practices.
- Safe driving record with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA rules and ability to complete accurate logs.
- Dependable attendance, strong communication, and customer focus.
- Meets all DOT driver qualification requirements.
- Must be able to pass required DOT drug and alcohol screening.
- Background hauling pallets, lumber, or construction materials.
- Flatbed expertise and advanced securement skills.
- Experience with regional day deliveries.
- Doubles/Triples (T) Endorsement and time running doubles.
- DOT Medical Card
- Loading and Unloading Vehicles
- Truck Operations & Load Securement
- Current CDL License
