Commercial HVAC Estimator

We’re seeking a resultsdriven Commercial HVAC Estimator with progressive mechanical estimating experience. Join a respected contractor with 20+ years delivering HVAC, refrigeration, chilled water, controls, sheet metal, and fulllifecycle mechanical services across commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, and institutional markets.

What You Will Do

• Lead quantity takeoffs, cost builds, and lineitem assemblies for HVAC/mechanical scopes
  
  
• Review plans and specs for ductwork, piping, equipment, controls, insulation, and balancing
  
  
• Prepare complete bid packages for projects ranging from $100K-$4M+
  
  
• Solicit, compare, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
  
  
• Identify valueengineering options while protecting margin
  
  
• Collaborate with leadership to refine pricing assumptions and leverage historical data
  
  

What We Expect

• 3-5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience
  
  
• Strong blueprint/spec reading skills
  
  
• Familiarity with chillers, RTUs, pumps, VAV/controls, piping systems
  
  
• Organized, analytical, and comfortable with estimating software
  
  
• Coachable, detailoriented, and teamfocused
