Your primary objective will be to provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff and other branch personnel engaged in meeting the needs of customers.Excellence in this challenging and rewarding position paves the way for advancement opportunities into our Driver and Service Technician development programs.What you'll do:Repair mats in high temperaturesClimb on and off and transport heavy equipment safely in the yardStage and load rental equipment (which may require obtaining chains measuring 10 feet and/or binders weighing 15 pounds each from truck storage rack (up to 40 chains per day)Carrying up to 15 feet or portable truck ladder to access delivery bedRequire bending, crawling, kneeling or laying on deck to tie down equipment, among other duties.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordEffective communication, multi-tasking and strong teamwork skillsDiligent attention to safetySuperior customer service skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.Why join us?We don’t just “talk the talk!” We’re an award-winning company (recently named a Glassdoor Best Place to Work in 2026) that truly cares about our people - That’s why we offer best-in-class benefits and perks that will support you and your family.
