Job Overview:

BOS Medical serves a unique role in the medical community, providing qualified per-diem clinical staff to facilities in urgent need and difficult areas to place. The Medical Staffing Coordinator is directly responsible for recruiting and staffing for Medical Assistants (MA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Registered Nurses (RN) to accommodate open schedules for daily, weekly or monthly schedules at various BOS Medical client's locations

Duties:

• Conduct interviews with potential candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for various positions
• Attract and retain CNAs, LPNs, or RNs to serve at the client's hospital, nursing home, assisted living, correctional facility, hospice, or other medical facility.
• Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and streamline the recruitment process
• Facilitate the hiring process, which includes interviewing, screening candidates and coaching of candidates for client interviews.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
• Must be able to work on-call schedule with occasional holidays
• Assist in training development programs for new hires and existing employees

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• At least 1 year of proven experience in recruiting, interviewing, or talent acquisition
• Ability to work on-call including, weekdays, weekends and holidays
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to adapt to change in the workplace

Chanease holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Georgia. She began her journey with the BOS family in September 2019 as a Front Office Coordinator with BOS Staffing. Later that year, she transitioned to BOS Medical as a Recruiting Specialist. Currently, Chanease holds the position of Senior Staffing Specialist, where she takes charge of leading and organizing our staffing team. Her primary responsibilities involve managing schedules for clients and medical professionals across Georgia, particularly in behavioral health and corrections facilities. Additionally, Chanease leads a team of staffing specialists.

Chanease has completed the Certified Health Care Staffing Professional program, which provides comprehensive training on federal employment and labor laws specific to health care staffing and recruiting professionals. This credential is essential for demonstrating her expertise in working with both employees and clients within the boundaries of federal regulations and laws.
