Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, Aurora, CO Department: Emergency Department Work Schedule: Full Time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Night shift Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 per hour, dependent on experience Onsite role (no remote) Night Shift Incentive Program pays $1,600 quarterly (or $6,400 annually) to full‑time night shift RNs. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program (if less than 3 years of experience). State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). At least 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. Registered Nurse Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. BLS (BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross). CPR for Professional Rescuer; BLS or CPR card must remain valid through 60 days of hire. Responsibilities Provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize wellness and patient perspective with evidence-based practice. Precept new staff and contribute to clinical proficiency. Manage direct care at Emergency Department level up to and including level 1 trauma designation. Adhere to BCEN certification standards as part of evidence-based care models.
