The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns in a supportive environment.Job Responsibilities\n \n Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during the labor and delivery process.\n Collaborate effectively with obstetricians and midwives to support patient preferences and needs.\n Provide individualized education and support to mothers regarding postpartum care and infant care.\n Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.\n Administer medications and assist in procedures as needed.\n Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain standards of care.\n Shift Requirements\n \n 12-hour night shifts with a commitment of 36 hours per week.\n Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed.\n On-call responsibilities may be required, to be determined.\n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of current experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D).\n Experience in Postpartum/Mother Baby care is required.\n Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.\n Must possess a valid Massachusetts RN license.\n Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE are required.\n Must have a personal vehicle for transportation related to the assignment.\n Additional Information\n Please note that any requested time off during this assignment must be verified at the time of submission, and no more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.
