Senior Application Security Engineer

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Application Security Engineer will secure applications by identifying design and implementation flaws, collaborating with product engineers to rectify defects, and enhancing internal systems against emerging threats. Key responsibilities: Join engineering teams as a security expert, influencing product design and capabilities Create and maintain threat models to drive security architecture reviews and reduce threat surfaces Conduct manual secure code reviews and collaborate with developers to address security defects Required qualifications: 10+ years of experience in CyberSecurity with a focus on identifying security defects Deep understanding of Agile/DevOps environments and software product development Experience with threat modeling frameworks, particularly STRIDE Proven manual secure code review experience for applications built with Go, Python, or JavaScript Expertise in browser security implementations and API endpoint security testing
