Contracting Intern

Overview The Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMi)IBioFabUSA is a Member-based non-profit, member-driven, public-private partnership with a mission to advance the bioeconomy and transform the future of human health. ARMI provides technical and wrap‑around commercialization services to companies seeking to advance technologies that will contribute to this impact. The Impact That You Will Make ARMI Contracting legal department is seeking a highly motivated student to support the organization's contracting and operational compliance functions during Summer 2026. This internship provides hands‑on experience working within a mission‑driven nonprofit organization that collaborates extensively with government agencies, educational and research institutions, industry partners, and commercial stakeholders. The intern will assist with drafting and administration of commercial and federally funded agreements, support compliance and regulatory interpretation efforts, and contribute to implementation and optimization of ARMI's contract management systems and processes. This role is ideal for students interested in contract management, legal operations, government‑funded programs, nonprofit administration, compliance, procurement, or business operations. Your Role Assist with drafting, reviewing, and organizing: Service Agreements, including master service agreements Non‑Disclosure Agreements Statements of Work Government‑funded subaward and subcontract agreements Amendments, modifications, and related contractual documents Support contract lifecycle management activities, including: Contract intake and tracking Execution coordination File management and records organization Conduct research related to: Federal funding requirements Compliance obligations Regulatory and contractual interpretation Government contracting and nonprofit grant administration Assist in implementation and continuous improvement of a contract management system, including: Data migration and organization Template standardization Workflow documentation Process optimization initiatives Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, program management, and external stakeholders Support development of internal guidance materials, compliance checklists, and contract administration procedures Participate in special projects supporting ARMI's operational and strategic initiatives Your Skills and Experiences Currently enrolled in a law and legal studies program or any related program preferred Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and analytical ability Strong communication and organizational skills Interest in contracts, compliance, nonprofit operations, or government‑funded programs Familiarity with basic contract concepts preferred but not required Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information professionally Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with databases or contract management platforms is a plus Personal Attributes Commitment to quality, scientific integrity, and company mission Strong analytical and proactive problem‑solving skills with a strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Team‑oriented mindset with collaborative cross‑functional approach By applying, I understand that any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, in accordance with applicable laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute Inc
