Duties and Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Process direct service payments for grant funds and department operations with timeliness and accuracy.
• Review and verify expenses to ensure alignment with the correct grant or funding source.
• Prepare spend-down reports and other documentation essential for grant compliance.
• Record, track, and reconcile grant deposits.
• Provide backup support for petty cash and imprest fund processing.
• Review and process travel forms for assigned HVS team members.
• Reconcile grant spreadsheets, credit cards, and financial reports for accuracy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education, Experience, Licensing

What We're Looking For Minimum Requirements

• Any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to:
• High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) year of completed college coursework in finance, accounting, or closely related field
• Two (2) years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, accounting, or closely related area
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with grant-funded programs, including tracking expenses, reporting, and compliance
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency, including the ability to build spreadsheets, use common formulas, sort/filter data, and reconcile financial information
• Experience processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Ability to learn and use financial, accounting, and enterprise software systems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships

• Hours may vary to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
