Role Description

This is a part-time, Investigator role based in Morris Plains, NJ. The Investigator will conduct surveillance operations, prepare investigative reports, and gather evidence to support litigation, insurance claims, and civil cases. Responsibilities include performing covert investigations, maintaining detailed records of findings, and collaborating with team members to meet client objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting surveillance for insurance defense related matters.
• SIU investigative experience.
• Willing to conduct surveillance in PA and the five boroughs of NY.
• Technical skills including proficiency in using surveillance equipment and investigation software
• Ability to self-manage cases
• Prior experience in private investigations, insurance SIU and law enforcement

Required Equipment :

• Reliable vehicle. (company vehicle available)
• Laptop computer with Microsoft Word, Windows, and wireless Internet.
• Digital video camera and covert video camera.

Compensation :

• $32 - $40 per hour (based on experience).
• Full compensation for travel time (based on Morris Plains corporate HQ).
• Mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use.
