As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Plainfield, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. At a busy logistics and distribution location, Allied Universal team members in this access control role help monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, and support a professional, welcoming presence. You will help identify and report security-related concerns, provide strong customer service and communication, and contribute to a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.77 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors and deliveries, and document access activity in support of security-related operations at the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including building access points, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, report maintenance and security-related concerns, and support orderly operations within a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
