As a team member, you will work alongside the surgeon, caring for patients beginning with their surgical consultation and continue throughout their surgical journey. You will provide pre and post operative education as well as phone triage for patients and their families questions, before and after their surgery. Our patient population includes plastic surgery and general surgery, including hepatobiliary and colorectal surgeons. Our clinic also has a dedicated dietician and a social worker. Our clinic has 25 clinic rooms that includes two treatment rooms. We have approximately 12K patient visits per year./ppHours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm clinic with some flexibility./ppQualifications:/pulliRequires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies./liliRequires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred./liliRequires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program./liliRequires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license./liliTwo years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred./liliKnowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies./liliRequires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner./liliRequires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse./liliRequires ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction./li/ul/div
