Basic Job Functions: Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. A demonstrated ability to generate quotation packages and final detail packages for complex rack systems including selective rack, cantilever, dynamic systems, drive-in rack, and pick modules. Create system approval drawings, permit drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for customers as needed, during quotation phase as well as during order phase. An understanding of how to interpret engineering calculations to help design systems, basic math to calculate system weights, and have an expert grasp of graphic standards. Collaborate and communicate with outside customers as well as internal customers such as Sales, Engineering, Production, and Project Management, to support successful client projects. Minimum Qualifications: 5 years' experience in the Racking / Material Handling industry Expert command of AutCAD design software Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, design, or comparable experience Experience with 3D Autodesk design software Inventor or Revit Prior experience leading a team Nucor is an Equal OpportunityEmployer and a drug-free workplace #J-18808-Ljbffr
