Material Waste Handler (Per Diem, Day shift)

Job Title

Handles all waste products and related material and supplies. Weighs, records and prepares medical waste reports for all site shipments. Transports and disposal of non-regulated waste to compactor. Cleans garbage work area, garbage containers, loading dock, safety tools, equipment, and surrounding corridor. Performs all traditional housekeeping duties. Signs NJDEP manifest forms and handles all paper work relating to regulated waste. Completes inventory of supplies, equipment and maintains upkeep. Works scheduled weekdays, weekends, holidays and commits to the hospital.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Related experience preferred

Skills: Ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
