Duties

• Develop and execute innovative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and children's interests.
• Lead daily classroom activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early intervention strategies.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
• Incorporate curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs, including special education and toddler care.
• Oversee classroom management to ensure a safe, organized environment conducive to learning and play.
• Implement assessments such as standardized testing to monitor developmental milestones and educational outcomes.
• Supervise assistant teachers or aides while fostering teamwork and professional growth within the staff.
• Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, daycare policies, and private school standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, literacy education, early intervention, and teaching physical education.
• Maintain a clean environment suitable for children.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is ideal.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development.
• Experience managing a classroom environment with diverse learners, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, colleagues, and community partners.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education.
