We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. As a key leader in early childhood education, you will design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, promote positive behavior, and support the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a vibrant learning space where children feel safe, valued, and excited to explore their world.
Duties
- Develop and execute innovative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and children's interests.
- Lead daily classroom activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early intervention strategies.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Incorporate curriculum development tailored to diverse learning needs, including special education and toddler care.
- Oversee classroom management to ensure a safe, organized environment conducive to learning and play.
- Implement assessments such as standardized testing to monitor developmental milestones and educational outcomes.
- Supervise assistant teachers or aides while fostering teamwork and professional growth within the staff.
- Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, daycare policies, and private school standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, literacy education, early intervention, and teaching physical education.
- Maintain a clean environment suitable for children.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is ideal.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development.
- Experience managing a classroom environment with diverse learners, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education.
